Art. 6 - MEMBERSHIP

Access to the library’s services is available to holders of membership cards issued by one of such Libraries.
To become a member:

  • Show a valid ID document (ID card, driving licence, passport, residence permit or other document with a photograph issued by a public authority);
  • Fill in and sign a form for acceptance of these terms and conditions and for consent to use of your personal information.

For under age or disabled people, such form may be picked up and returned at a later time. For people under 15, the signature of a parent or guardian is needed.

Members shall promptly notify any change of address or telephone number to one of the Libraries of the System.
Pursuant to Privacy Act 675/96, “Tutela dei dati personali”, the personal information provided by the users will solely be used to manage the service or inform the user about the initiatives of the System. By signing the membership form, the member consents to such use.

For people under 15, the signature of a parent or guardian is needed.

Art. 7 – LOSS OR THEFT OF MEMBERSHIP CARDS 

Members shall promptly notify any loss or theft of their membership cards to one of the Libraries of the System.
Loss or theft of free cards: when notifying the event, the member will be given a copy with the same code number, expiry date and the word “copy” written next to the member’s name.

How to become an SBP Library User

The libraries of Sistema Prenestino are open to anyone, and anyone can consult, read or work with the materials available in their premises, free of charge, by going to the library during the opening hours.
Books can only be borrowed by library members: the library issues a membership card that can be renewed every year.
To join a library, children under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
